ECAC/EU DIALOGUE, Can Words Build a Safer Aviation in Europe?

Nov 14 in AEI News

European Civil Aviation Conference, ECAC is a united body, consists of aviation authority officers of european countries (includes some non EU members as well).

ECAC’s main mission is harmonising aviation policies and applicaitons all around Europe.

It published a bunch of documents after holding a “fruitful” meeting with EU on 4th of November.

…Consumer confidence needs to be rebuilt. Safety and security remain a priority for all actors of the sector, at a time where the primary focus is legitimately placed on the economic aspects of the crisis. All actors are committed to maintain safe and secure operations combined with more stable and harmonised public health measures, in the interest of the travelling public…..

We all used to hear such “nice words” from those kind of bureucratic bodies but have not seen any concrete action yet.
