Aircraft Engineers International is a world spanning organization for Aircraft engineers. Our members are found in all regions and they vary from licensed aircraft technicians to maintenance staff in workshops and technical training personal.

The organization’s main purpose is to promote and reflect a high safety standard. This is done through involvement in various forums and bodies such as the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) rule making groups, committees and close contact with National authorities.

In such entities we influence the making of rules and regulations that our everyday work is so dependent on to further secure flight safety and flights for the flying public.

Our organization is dedicated to assuring that our members have proper working conditions such as limitations on work time, and other human factor issues that are directly related to performing our work safely.

We find that national aviation laws and regulations vary throughout the world. This leads to uneven playing fields for a commercially suffering airline business.

Uncertain national rules and regulations are widely interpreted and leave the door open for shortcuts and therefore leave it mostly up to commercial air transporters to interpret the regulations too often in their favour. This further jeopardizes aviation safety and could lead to fatalities amongst the flying public. AEI serves as the “Safety Net” that hopefully prevents any fatalities from occurring.
